Fill Your Cup Meetup with Amber Weakley

Stress. Overwhelm. Burnout. Whatever you call it, we are going to talk about it.  Motherhood can quickly run us into the ground and knowing the signs of this downward spiral can help prevent a full collapse.  Join us as we dive into the psychology behind burnout, why our body begs for a break, and discussion on how we can refill our cup in order to be the mothers we are capable of being!

Amber Weakley is completing her Master's degree in Clinical Counseling at The Citadel in Charleston, SC and is a Clinical Intern at Ready Nest Counsling. She has over 5 years of experience working with new mothers at Postpartum Support Charleston and volunteering for Mugs for Moms and Postpartum Support International. As a mother of two boys, she brings a unique sense of personal experience to her professional work. She has additional training from Postpartum Support International and The Policy Center for Maternal Mental Health. Amber provides warmth and understanding for mothers and couples who are balancing immense responsibilities while nurturing those they love.

"Motherhood is a constant process of learning, feeling, and working through challenging moments. I aim to provide a space of thoughtful understanding for you and your family as these experiences unfold, offering support and guidance tailored to your personal journey and needs."

Mothers, hopeful mothers, partners and infants-in-arms are welcome. This event is free and will be at 723 Meeting Street, Charleston. To register please click here.
