Please join us for our first Muddy Meetup! What is a Muddy Meetup?! We know that motherhood can be messy and this is an opportunity for moms to work with clay while engaging with other moms in their community. Each Muddy Meetup will involve a local artist collaborating with a perinatal healthcare or mental healthcare professional who will lead the group to help create an environment for healing and connection while engaging in a creative, hands-on project. Coffee, tea and a light lunch will be provided. Muddy Meetups are always free. Please message us to sign up and wear clothes you don’t mind getting a little muddy!
Dr. Connie Guille, Reproductive Psychiatrist and Director of MUSC’s Women’s Reproductive Behavioral Health Division along with ceramic artists, Maria White and Fiorenzo Berardozzi, will be leading this Muddy Meetup.
*For the safety of our moms and facilitators, we kindly ask that masks are worn and social distancing practiced. Please let us know if you are in need of transportation. We are offering a maximum of 8 participants per Muddy Meetup. Babies are welcome!
