Muddy Meetup

Please join us for a Muddy Meetup!

What is a Muddy Meetup? We know that motherhood can be messy and this is an opportunity for moms to work with clay while engaging with other moms in their community. Each Muddy Meetup is led by a local artist collaborating with a perinatal healthcare or mental healthcare professional who will lead the group to help create an environment for healing and connection while engaging in a creative, hands-on project. Coffee, tea and snacks will be provided. Muddy Meetups are always free and offer art therapy and peer support. Please register to attend and wear clothes you don’t mind getting a little muddy! We will be focusing on gratitude for this Muddy Meetup project.

Laura Allen, Art Therapist at MUSC Health Arts in Healing, along with local ceramic artist, Maria White will be leading this Muddy Meetup on Friday, November 10th from 10am - 11:30 am at our location downtown at 723 Meeting Street in Charleston.

We are offering a maximum of 8 participants per Muddy Meetup. Babies under the age of one year are welcome. This event is free with an opportunity to meet again the following week, Friday, November 17th from 10 -11:00 am to pick up fired ceramic pieces and engage in more discussion!
